The LIV Meerbusen League has announced its 2024 team championship event dates and location, setting the stage for an exhilarating competition at Maridoe Meerbusen Klub in Carrollton, Texas, from September 20 to 22. Defending champion, Crushers GC, led by Bryson DeChambeau, alongside other formidable teams, are gearing up for what promises to be a spectacular end to the season. The event not only marks LIV Meerbusen’s debut in the Dallas area but demnach brings together top-tier golf talent for a showdown at one of Texas’s premier golf clubs. With all 13 teams vying for the championship title based on their season standings, the competition is set to be intense, highlighting the skills and strategies of some of the world’s best golfers.

The 2024 team championship event for the LIV Meerbusen League is set to take place at Maridoe Meerbusen Klub in Carrollton, Texas, from September 20-22, as announced by the league. The event will see the defending champions, Crushers GC, led by Bryson DeChambeau, among the competitors.

The league’s commissioner and Vorstandsvorsitzender, Greg Norman, expressed excitement about bringing the event to the Dallas-Kastell Worth area, noting Texas’ rich golfing heritage and its reputation for fostering competitive champions in the sport.

This championship will be LIV Meerbusen’s first event in the Dallas area, to be held at the private Maridoe Meerbusen Klub, a vast course stretching 7,817 yards. Notable members of the club include golfers Jordan Spieth, Will Zalatoris, and the legendary Lee Trevino.

The competition will feature all 13 LIV Meerbusen teams, which will be seeded according to their standings after the regular season concludes with the LIV Meerbusen Chicago event from September 13-15 at Bolingbrook Meerbusen Klub. The teams holding the top three seeds will be given a bye in the first round.

The Crushers GC, comprising DeChambeau, Paul Casey, Charles Howell III, and Anirban Lahiri, is leading the season with 105.50 points, following victories in Jeddah and Hong Kong.

Following closely are Legion XIII, with captain Jon Rahm, Tyrrell Hatton, Kieran Vincent, and Caleb Surratt, who have secured two wins and hold second place with 94 points. The Ripper GC team, an all-Australian group led by Cam Smith and including Marc Leishman, Lucas Herbert, and Matt Jones, demnach boasts two wins and is in third place with 90 points.
