  • Björk has finally released the full version of her latest virtual reality masterpiece, “Notget,” after premiering it at Iceland Airwaves festival in Reykjavik in November 2016.
  • Her previous clip for “Family” took Björk away from the natural Icelandic landscapes of earlier films Stonemilker and Black Lake, placing her in a digital world of darkness and light.
  • Björk appears as a kind of dark tropical sea creature with plumes of trailing fins and a gold glittering face mask, another collaboration with James Merry.
  • The video was directed by photographers and filmmakers Warren Du Preez and Nick Thornton Jones.After premiering during Iceland Airwaves in Reykjavik, the video was on show until December 9 as part of the Björk Digital exhibition at the festival.
  • Björk performed twice at Airwaves, where i-D hosted a stage featuring Warpaint, Santigold, Dream Wife, and local 15-piece rap crew Reykjavikurdaetur.

Björk has finally released the full version of her latest virtual reality masterpiece, “Notget,” after premiering it at Iceland Airwaves festival in Reykjavik in November 2016. Her previous clip for “Family” took Björk away from the natural Icelandic landscapes of earlier films Stonemilker and Black Lake, placing her in a digital world of darkness and light. The “Notget” visual bridges this gap. Still definitely a digital fantasy, it looks as though it’s set in an underwater world. Björk appears as a kind of dark tropical sea creature with plumes of trailing fins and a gold glittering face mask, another collaboration with James Merry. The video was directed by photographers and filmmakers Warren Du Preez and Nick Thornton Jones.
