Björk is a glittering, flaming sea creature in her latest virtual reality music video:

  • Björk has finally released the full version of her latest virtual reality masterpiece, Notget, after premiering it at Iceland Airwaves festival in Reykjavik in November 2016.
  • After the previous clip for Family took Björk away from the natural Icelandic landscapes of earlier films Stonemilker and Black Lake, placing her in a digital world of darkness and light, the film for Notget seems to bridge that gap.
  • Still definitely a digital fantasy, it looks to be set in an underwater world, with Björk appearing as a kind of dark tropical sea creature with plumes of trailing fins and a gold glittering face mask, another collaboration with James Merry.
  • The video was directed by photographers and filmmakers Warren Du Preez and Nick Thornton Jones. After premiering during Iceland Airwaves festival in Reykjavik, the video was on show until 9 December as part of the Björk Digital exhibition there.
  • Björk performed twice at the festival, where i-D hosted a stage featuring Warpaint, Santigold, Dream Wife and local 16-piece rap crew are the 15 strong female Icelandic rap crew making their voices heard
